NY Bagels, established in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy in 1992, is the Australian market leader in the baking of authentic “New York” style bagels.
To make sure we got it right we brought Al Greenberg, a |
prominent New York City bagel maker to Melbourne to supervise the introduction of traditional boiled bagels to the Australian market.
Today, NY Bagels offers an innovative range of fresh-daily bagels for the Melbourne market as well as national distribution of our frozen par baked and fully baked product. These include varieties for the health conscious.
Currently the company is expanding our frozen range to meet the demands of the export market for authentic, traditional New York style bagels.
Our professional staff, with a combined bagel baking experience of over 50 years, is dedicated to baking product to the highest standards using only natural Australian and imported ingredients. The bakery operates to the highest standards of health and safety and hold HACCP accreditation.
A key to our continued growth has been our commitment to engage with innovative food industry partners to develop new varieties and products to meet a specific opportunity identified by our customer. Joint marketing programs are also used to assist our customers meet their business objectives. |
